The Haddonfield Memorial High School Madrigal Singers invite residents to enjoy the music and merriment of the season at their annual Dessert Theater, December 17 and 18, 2021.
The show will feature songs and dances of the season, a comedy guaranteed to amuse and entertain, a wassail toast, the regal presentation of the Boar’s Head, and individually-packaged desserts to enjoy after the show.
Under the direction of HMHS’s choir director, Tyler Mills, the student singers appear in renaissance inspired costumes as they present madrigal songs, pieces of vocal music that originated in Italy and England. Since the troupe’s inaugural season in 1997, the HMHS Madrigal Singers have performed at the White House, Washington National Cathedral, the Kimmel Center and Longwood Gardens.
The HMHS Madrigal Singers are pleased to present their 2021 troupe of sophomores, juniors and seniors:
- Soprano I: Jane Kinney, Estella Maguire, Shaelin McKenna and Kiki Shim;
- Soprano II: Mia Bompensa, Samantha Kehner, Tess Smith and Celia Wojcik;
