The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 101 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 59,181 and 1,305 total fatalities.
Of this week’s new cases, 105 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age from this week ranges from 34 to 38 years old.

“Unfortunately, we are continuing to see the Delta variant maintain its iron grip on our region from cases to hospitalizations. More than 95 percent of our cases now are from the Delta strain,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “The Camden County Health Hub at Camden County College in Gloucester Township is now taking appointments.

To date, 367,419 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 311,723 are fully vaccinated and 27,294 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
