The Camden County Department of Health is announcing new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 57,046 and 1,282 total fatalities.

“The United States is quickly approaching the grim milestone of 700,000 deaths from COVID-19,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “If you haven’t done so already, please get vaccinated. It is the best tool we have to save lives.”
To date, 340,787 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 304,409 are fully vaccinated. More information regarding vaccination rates throughout the county and available on the state’s COVID-19 dashboard at covid19.nj.gov.
The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
