Michael Scott, longtime Haddonfield resident, died June 21 at the age of 62.
He was the son of the late Philips B. and Judith P. Scott, dear brother of David A. (Daneen) Scott of Haddonfield, Linda (H. Clifford, M.D.) Lane of Cabin John, Md., Amy (Paul) Billman of Berwyn, Pa. as well as loving uncle to Natalie, Benjamin and Jennifer Scott, Elizabeth and Katie Billman, Emily and Claire Lane.
Michael graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School’s class of 1977 and played baseball and soccer for the Bulldogs before attending Penn State University an graduating with the class of 1982, where he was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
Mike was a passionate Phillies fan and a true student of the game of baseball. He also loved dogs, a good political debate, classic movies and Bruce Springsteen. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Michael’s family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 10 a.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Avenue, Haddonfield. His Memorial Service will follow at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be private.
