Mark your calendars for this maraca-making, free craft workshop sponsored by the Haddonfield Education Association, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 26 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.Â
The first 100 participants will receive a decorating kit and a healthy treat.Â
This event will feature Senora Rodriguez, from Haddonfield Memorial High School, one of our beloved Spanish teachers and Puerto Rican native who will lead us in song, a read-aloud, and first-hand knowledge of Puerto Rican culture.Â
All who register will receive the meeting link and list of materials and instructions and a video recording of the event.Â
Miss Leighton’s class will be organizing the kits which will include a wooden maraca, paints and a paintbrush, feathers, googly eyes, and glue dots to make your tropical bird maraca. Please register by Thursday, May 20th.
A Google Meet link will be sent out on the day before and day of the event. An email will be sent to families who qualify for the materials kit and re: pickup location(s) and times.
