Gloucester Township police investigate a five car motor vehicle crash

Five vehicles were involved in the crash, and there were two reported injuries.

The following release is according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021 at approximately 2:40 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department  responded to the area of Berlin-Cross Keys Road at Williamstown Road for a report of a multi-vehicle crash  with injuries. Arriving officers located five vehicles that were involved in the crash.

There were two reported injuries. One driver was transported to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden and a second driver was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township. There were no other reported  injuries to any other drivers or passengers.

This crash is being investigated by members of the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation  Team (SCIT). During the initial phases of the investigation Berlin-Cross Keys Road near Williamstown Road  was shut down for approximately three hours. The names of the drivers are being withheld at this time pending  further investigation.
