The Camden County Department of Health reported on Monday 618 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed between Saturday, Jan. 30, and Monday, Feb. 1. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 36,607 in Camden County today and 938 total fatalities.
“We are continuing to wish a fast and full recovery to everyone who is currently battling this disease,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.
“Due to the winter storm which is currently delivering several inches of snow to our region, we have rescheduled all vaccination appointments set for today and tomorrow at the Camden County Vaccination Center. Thanks to our healthcare partners and the incredible staff working the site, we’ll be able to accommodate all of these rescheduled appointments on Wednesday without missing a beat.”
The Department of Health is announcing 618 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
In addition, the county Department of Health is also announcing 2,219 confirmed resident cases and 1,221 staff cases have occurred out of the aggregate case load of 36,607 in our 56 long-term care facilities. At this time, 437 resident deaths have been reported from these facilities, as well as five staff deaths, out of our 938 total fatalities countywide.
he county Health Department is currently working to trace close contacts of these newest cases. The investigations are still ongoing, and we will update the public with new developments as the information is gathered by our investigators.
