“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and loved ones of 21 additional victims lost to this terrible disease,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.
“None of us could have imagined the toll this pandemic would take on our community one year ago. There is no longer a day that passes when I don’t think of those within our community who have had to endure tragedy amidst all the other uncertainty brought upon us in the last 10 months. We must all continue to fight this disease with every effort we can give to ensure that no further loss of life occurs.”
Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
