Burlco Domestic Violence Response Team needs volunteers

Volunteer to help empower and advocate for victims of domestic violence.

Burlington County is looking to grow its Domestic Violence Response Team.

This team consists of volunteers who work with Providence House, Domestic Violence Services and local police departments to help people who experience domestic violence by empowering and advocating for victims.

VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON CLASSES WILL BE HELD:

Thursday Sept. 10th 6pm – 9:30pm

*Saturday Sept. 12th 10am – 1pm/ 2pm – 5pm

Thursday Sept. 17th 6pm – 9 :30pm

Thursday Sept. 24th 6pm – 9:30pm

Thursday Oct. 1st 6pm – 9:30pm

Thursday Oct.8th 6pm – 9:30pm

*Saturday Oct. 11th 10am – 1pm/ 2pm – 5pm

Thursday Oct. 15th 6pm – 9:30pm

Thursday Oct. 22nd 6pm – 9:30pm

Thursday Oct 29th 6pm – 9:30pm

*Saturday Nov. 7th 10am – 1pm/ 2pm – 5pm

*Saturday classes are in-person, but socially distant

Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Resident of, or employed in the Burlington County Area
  • Valid NJ drivers license and access to transportation
  • No criminal history (which is verified by a free background check)
