The Deptford Mall is celebrating the holidays with free fun for families!
Now through Dec. 23, help spread holiday cheer to local families in need by donating unwrapped toys at Santa HQ, located in Center Court. Toys will be donated to Gloucester County Toys for Tots.
Jump and jive to holiday music until Dec. 20! Enjoy live tunes while shopping for the holidays from the Atlantic Brass Band Quartet. The group will be performing in the upper level Center Court near Macy’s on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and specific times are posted on the mall’s website.
Virtual Kids Club continues through Dec. 17. Gather the little ones around and celebrate the spirit of Christmas with Persephone. Sing carols, learn new traditions and discover new ways to wrap presents! By joining through the mall’s website, find these free interactive activities, videos and more.
Children (and adults!) can have silly fun with official Santa HQ elves Jack and Strawberry. The duo will entertain with caroling and giveaways from noon to 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 and 19.
There’s a chance to virtually meet Mrs. Claus, too! On Sunday, Dec. 12, children can make a craft and enjoy a sing-along with the North Pole’s leading lady by logging onto www.facebook.com/shopdeptfordmall. Pick up the holiday craft kit beforehand at Santa HQ on Dec. 10 or 11, while supplies last.
And what about meeting the big jolly elf himself? Santa Claus is at Santa HQ with a new, contactless experience for visiting families. Photos packages are available, but children are also permitted to just stop by for a visit. For all the specifics, including reservations, visit the mall’s website.
