The Palmyra Halloween Parade organization hosted its inaugural Build a Scarecrow Contest in downtown Palmyra. Creativity was on full display, with scarecrows themed after pop culture, local businesses, timeless characters and more. The Palmyra Fire Department even got in on the action with a firefighter scarecrow above Independence Fire Co. No. 1. Winners will be announced soon at www.palmyrahalloweenparade.com.
