Gloucester County reported an additional 17 cases of COVID-19 today, with no new reported deaths. So far, the county has conducted 42,279 total tests. Of these cases, 38,672 have come back negative. One case was moved out of county.
Today’s new cases include:
• Three cases from Monroe Township: a 17-year-old male, a 15-year-old male, and a 57-year-old female
• Three cases from Washington Township: a 57-year-old female, a 26-year-old male, and a 42-year-old female
• Two cases from Mantua: a 16-year-old male, a 51-year-old female
• One case from Harrison Township: a 19-year-old male
• One case from Glassboro: a 75-year-old male
• One case from West Deptford: a 19-year-old male
• One case from Swedesboro: a 48-year-old male
• One case from East Greenwich: a 51-year-old male
• One case from Woolwich: a 25-year-old male
• One case from Newfield: a 46-year-old female
• One case from Clayton: a 21-year-old male
• One case from Westville: a 65-year-old male
Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,607. Gloucester County has 213 COVID-19 related deaths.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing case.
