65 Club pivots to online services

Borough club catering to older adults keeps rolling, now in online form.

As all borough buildings are closed due to the spread of coronavirus, we cannot open for our regular club activities.

But nothing stops the 65 Club, as several of our members put our heads together and were able to set up our regular Thursday meeting online.

Rick Bonnette, Al Schmidt, Frank Lodge, Phil Kinsey and myself, Bill Brown, met together using ZOOM, and worked out the details.

It was a success, with our speaker, Jane Berkowitz, outlining how she raised four separate dogs to be ready for school to become seeing-eye dogs. It was a stimulating presentation.

Plans are underway for future meetings, and we are also looking into preparing our Tai Chi class online for member participation. We look forward to larger audiences in the future.

For any questions or concerns, contact Bill Brown at (856) 429-4368.
