According to the Camden County Department of Health, since exposure associated with two positive cases of COVID-19 related to Cherry Hill Public Schools was more than two weeks ago, “the situation must have resolved by now.”
A Monday community letter from Superintendent Joseph Meloche yesterday, March 23, stated a parent in the Cherry Hill Public Schools Community tested positive for COVID-19. The parent was in attendance at the Friday, March 6 performance of “Legally Blonde.”
Today, the school district announced that, subsequent to sending yesterday’s community letter, Meloche was informed by a parent that an “extended family member” also in attendance at the March 6 performance was confirmed to have COVID-19.
The Camden County Department of Health recommends “anyone with questions about the novel coronavirus, symptoms or their risk of exposure, can call the free, 24-hour public hotline at (800) 222-1222 where trained professionals are standing by to answer your questions.”
