With the COVID-19 pandemic turning school districts across the country into virtual classrooms, teachers are getting creative with their remote learning tactics. Hurffville Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Jacki Tiger is no exception.
What her district calls a “shining example of creativity and innovation of Washington Township educators during challenging coronavirus times,” Tiger is using her home washing machine and dryer as white boards for her students, video-taping and streaming math lessons. She has dubbed the educational session “Live from the Laundry Pile!”
