Shop small local business Saturday, Nov. 30
We are joining Gloucester County in taking the pledge to shop local this holiday season. On Saturday, Nov. 30 please join us “Shop Local Saturday.” By shopping with us you help promote local job growth and stimulate the local economy. Local businesses provide jobs for Gloucester County residents, including right here in Washington Township. Local employment opportunities create shorter commutes to work, keep dollars earned in the community, reduce strain on social services and enhance the quality of life.

Shop Washington Township
I am happy to see the Shop Washington Township program continuing to grow and thrive. Please remember to shop in town to earn property tax credits. My office has been in contact with many business owners who are looking to join the program, and we are excited to see which businesses join next. There have also been a large amount of residents consistently logging in to the property tax card website and registering their cards. If you would like a list of the current participating businesses as well as what rebate they are offering, you only need to visit the website at https://www.propertytaxcard.com/ShopWashingtonTownship/participants. The list of businesses are also on the township website at www.TownshipNJ.com. New residents, please stop by the municipal building information booth to pick up a card and information how it works. Cards were mailed out in January 2018.

This event will occur from 5 to 9 p.m., please join us.
