In the uncontested race for the two spots available on the Mantua Township Committee in the 2019 election, incumbents Peter Scirrotto and Eileen Lukens were both reelected.
According to unofficial results provided by the Gloucester County Board of Elections at the time of print, Scirrotto received 50.12 percent of the vote while Lukens received 48.38 percent. Only 1.5 percent of the vote went to write-in candidates.
For the three seats available for the Mantua Township School District Board of Education, John Quinn received 86.14 percent of the vote, as he was the only candidate running for a seat. 13.86 percent of the vote went to write-in candidates.
For the two seats available for the Clearview Regional BOE Mantua representative, Amy Gregg received 38.54 of the vote while Bryan Quenzel received 33.69 percent.
For the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, incumbent Democrats Frank DiMarco and Dan Christy were both reelected.
Additionally, for the State General Assembly 5th Legislative District, incumbent Democrat William Spearman and William Moen were elected. Spearman received 28.7 of the vote, while Moen received 28.31.
Lastly, 71.93 percent of voters in Gloucester County voted “yes” for the statewide public question. The question asked voters whether New Jersey should extend property tax deductions to military veterans who live in continuing care retirement communities.
