In the uncontested race for the two spots available on the Harrison Township Committee in the 2019 election, incumbent John Williams and Adam Wingate were both elected.
According to unofficial results provided by the Gloucester County Board of Elections at the time of print, Williams received 48.86 percent of the vote while Wingate received 48.99 percent. Only 2.15 percent of the vote went to write-in candidates.
For the three seats available for the Harrison Township School District Board of Education, incumbents Jennifer Bowen and Walter Bright, along with Sean Henderson, were elected. Bowen received 30.32 percent of the vote, Bright received 27.92 percent and Henderson received 27.84.
For the one seat available for the Clearview Regional BOE Harrison representative, Joseph Schwab received 38.54 of the vote, defeating Jerome Palmieri, who received 43.41 percent.
For the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, incumbent Democrats Frank DiMarco and Dan Christy were both reelected.
Additionally, for the State General Assembly 5th Legislative District, incumbent Democrat William Spearman and William Moen were elected. Spearman received 28.7 of the vote, while Moen received 28.31.
Lastly, 71.93 percent of voters in Gloucester County voted “yes” for the statewide public question. The question asked voters whether New Jersey should extend property tax deductions to military veterans who live in continuing care retirement communities.
