Harrison Township postpones Trick-or-Treating

Harrison Township has announced that Trick-or-Treating will be rescheduled from Thursday, Oct. 31 to Friday, Nov. 1 due to the forecasted weather. 

Harrison Township has announced that Trick-or-Treating will be rescheduled from Thursday, Oct. 31 to Friday, Nov. 1 due to the forecasted weather.

Predicted forecasts show on-and-off rain showers Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.

According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 70 percent chance of rain showers in each region of New Jersey during the day on Thursday and an 80 percent chance at night.

On Friday, the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers before 11 a.m, then mostly sunny with a 30 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day.

Trick-or-Treating hours will now be held on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m.

The Township said that the decision was made to put the safety of children first.
