The Mt. Laurel AARP Chapter No. 4003 will begin its 2019-2020 season on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Laurel Community Center, at the intersection of Mount Laurel Road and Walt Whitman Boulevard.
Bridget Quinn, senior program specialist, from the AARP New Jersey State Office will be the guest speaker. Quinn will advise attendees of the issues that the New Jersey AARP is concerned with and new programs that the state office will be activating.
Chapter meetings are held the first Thursday of every month from September to June at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Laurel Community Center and includes, throughout the meeting season, interesting speakers on various subjects, bus trips, luncheons at quality venues, as well as, a pizza party and hoagie lunch at the community center. A social hour follows the meetings with coffee, tea and cake.
Everyone is welcome to join us. Attendees do not have to be a Mt. Laurel resident to attend or join the chapter. Bring a friend and attend your first meeting as a guest.
