The Music Barn, a new community-driven live music venue based in Southern New Jersey, is holding its first concert on Aug. 9 at the Gloucester County 4-H Fairgrounds. The Music Barn will be hosting Marielle Kraft to kick off the grand opening. The concert will start at 7 p.m.
The Music Barn shows dedication to its community by donating a portion of all ticket sales to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as regularly donating to other charities. There will be a total of six events throughout the year being held at The Music Barn, including a food truck festival held at the end of August.
The business is owned by a 20-year-old, young entrepreneur from Rowan University. The goal of The Music Barn is to assist the community in discovering local artists they have never seen or heard before, in turn providing local artists a platform to give back to the community.
