The Gloucester County Institute of Technology Family, Career and Community Leaders of America competed at the 2019 National Leadership Conference and earned 14 gold, 18 silver, and three bronze medals. GCIT had 35 students travel and compete at the conference in Anaheim, Calif. from June 29 to July 4. Students received a great learning experience interacting with more than 8,000 fellow FCCLA students from all over the country.
Chapter advisor, James Angarola, was also honored with the National Spirit of Advising Award. This award recognizes chapter advisers who are constantly faithful, often quietly working behind the scenes to ensure the success of their students.
