This Saturday, June 1, marks year 12 for Marlton Day on Main Street, and the Marlton Business Association is once again inviting all residents to come and enjoy this free event.
Although the event started in 2006 as the “The Marlton Expo” and originally functioned mainly as a “business-to-business” event, five years ago the MBA moved the event from the Blue Barn Recreation Center to Main Street to start what officials describe as a “business-to-community” event.
As in the past several years, the MBA and dozens of its members will be featured at this year’s Marlton Day on Main Street to introduce residents to just some of the many local businesses, services, vendors, nonprofits and community organizations already located in town throughout the year.
In addition, residents will have a chance to satisfy their appetites with a myriad of food selections.
Just some of the new and returning food trucks and other vendors already lined up for this year’s event include: Harvest Coffee, Moore Bagels. Sunflower Bakery, Matty G Dogz, Humpty Dumplings, Cannoli World, Phylodelphia Greek & Mediterranean, Chillin Out Ice Cream, Gustosos, Brotherly Love Cheesesteaks, Mamas Meatballs, Rigatoni’s Crabcakes, Stews Catering and more.
In addition to the food for sale, the day will also feature free musical entertainment provided by Dave Murray, SuperLemonade Band and the Cherry Hill School of Rock.
The Evesham Township Police Department is also set to feature a free Police K-9 demonstration where attendees can learn about the program and see just some of the many commands the dogs can carry out as ordered by their human partners.
According to MBA officials, in addition to providing free entertainment and fun to residents, Marlton Day on Main Street also allows business and other organizations in town to meet with residents so those residents will hopefully continue to support local business in the future.
MBA officials also note that any proceeds gained from the event will go toward supporting many of the charitable activities the MBA undertakes throughout the year, such as funding scholarships and supporting charity groups.
As noted by the MBA’s website, the Marlton Business Associations features more than 250 members, with a commitment to helping business owners get more business while also focusing on building a stronger community.
With that in mind, MBA officials ask locals to consider stopping stop by the upcoming Marlton Day on Main Street to support the MBA and its members, so in turn, the MBA and its members can continue to support the community

This year’s event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Evesham’s Main Street.
