Gloucester Township honors fallen for Memorial Day

The Gloucester Township Veterans Affairs Committee will honor the men and women of the armed services that gave their lives for the country as they host their annual Memorial Day tribute on Monday, May 27. The guest speaker for this year’s event will be Captain Mark Bodrog. Bodrog was deployed twice to Afghanistan as an Infantry officer.

All residents are invited to attend the ceremony. The Blackwood, Glendora and Erial Veterans of Foreign Wars  Posts and The American Legion Post 281 from Chews Landing will participate in the ceremony. The Boys Scouts and Girls Scouts will also participate in the ceremony.

The program will begin at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.
