Drew R. DuBoff, a resident of Cherry Hill and a graduate student at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., has been elected to a one-year term as an executive vice president of collegiate DECA.

DuBoff has completed two bachelor of science degrees at Johnson & Wales University (JWU); one in culinary arts & food service management and another in restaurant, food and beverage management, with minors in sommelier and craft brewing. He is currently on the fast track to earning an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership at JWU with an expected completion date of May 2020. A 2015 graduate of Cherry Hill High School East, he is the son of Sherry DuBoff, also of Cherry Hill.

In addition to his academic studies and national office, DuBoff’s entrepreneurial acumen led to the establishment of his own business, It’s Been a Pleasure, LLC, an online business coaching and freelance services venture based in New Jersey. It was his company and savvy business plan that garnered him a first place in the Entrepreneurship Growing Your Business competition at the April 2019 DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) conference held in Orlando, FL.

“My entire career has been crafted from my DECA experience,” DuBoff said. “When I look at my thriving business, I wouldn’t see it as successful if I didn’t have the proper foundation. Business competitions enable professionals to elevate their industry knowledge and that certainly shows in how I operate.”
