DivorceCare is returning to First United Methodist Church

DivorceCare is returning to First United Methodist Church in Moorestown on May 2. Designed for people who are considering divorce, are separated or recently divorced, and even those who have been divorced for years but are still struggling, this 13-week structured video seminar series features some of the nation’s foremost experts on divorce and recovery topics. The program is non-denominational, and open to all.

After viewing the video, DivorceCare participants spend time as a support group, discussing that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members. Each week focuses on a different subject, and people are welcome to join at any time. Facilitators of DivorceCare seminars and support groups are people who understand what participants are going through, have been down the same path, and want to help.

Thousands of DivorceCare groups meet weekly around the world, There are 68 active groups in the Delaware Valley Region alone. The program is known as a reliable and comforting resource with helpful, practical information that can help anyone experiencing the pain and confusion of divorce and separation.

First United Methodist Church in Moorestown has been hosting Divorce Care workshops for almost a decade. Their next 13-week session will run on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. starting May 2 through July 25. To register, go to the DivorceCare homepage (www.divorcecare.org) and enter Moorestown, NJ. Select First United Methodist Church under “Current Groups” and follow the prompts. There is a $15 participation fee to cover the cost of the workbook (scholarships are available). Childcare is provided.
