Sundays on Stage is a series of unique performances showcasing music, dance, culture and more at the Burlington County Library. On Sunday, April 28, from 2 to 5 p.m., Sundays on Stage is presenting a performance of Shakespeare’s famous work, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in the library’s auditorium.
From the Burlington County Library events page:
“Arguably Shakespeare’s most popular work, this uproarious comedy tells the story of the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, the former queen of the Amazons. Performed by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, the story includes the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest.”
Tickets will be available for this event 45 minutes prior to showtime on a first come, first served basis. Staff will be available at the auditorium door with tickets. According to the library, all members of your party must be present to receive a ticket.
Doors are scheduled to open at 1:45 p.m. and seating is limited to 240 attendees.
