In anticipation of May, designated as Mental Health Awareness Month, the clients of Taylor Care Behavioral Health in Berlin have assembled an art exhibit. Curated by art therapist Stevie French, this exhibit highlights the human experience of living with severe and persistent mental illness.
It is the hope of those putting together the exhibit that it will be displayed in other venues as well during the coming year thus advancing the cause of destigmatizing mental illness and raising general awareness of mental health.
Join the community and explore the exhibit Tuesday, April 16 from 4 to 6:00 p.m. for the initial showing of this unique exhibit, taking place in conjunction with an open house of Taylor Care’s program at 147 Jackson Road in Berlin.
