The Freeholder Board will host the Camden County Spring Job Fair Monday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom, located at 315 White Horse Pike in Collingswood.
“Whether you are unemployed, underemployed or are looking for a change of careers, we encourage you to attend the Camden County Spring Job Fair,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “For Camden County residents who are looking for work, there just isn’t another time when this many employers will all be in one room at the same time and looking for talented people.”
The annual event attracts thousands of prospective employees and features over 100 employers offering positions in a wide variety of fields.
“Having local businesses hiring local employees is a win-win for our economy and our communities,” Cappelli said. “This job fair is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to our local ready and willing workforce. The Freeholder Board is always trying to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers.”
The Spring Job Fair is being held in cooperation with the Camden County One-Stop Resource Center, which will provide on-site advice on resume writing and the job search. The Resource Center also provides access to services like employment, training and education programs.
“We encourage anyone in the job-hunting process to take advantage of this free event,” Cappelli said. “We hope this event will mark the start of your new career.”
