Free diabetes workshop comes to Moorestown

The first session of the series will take place on April 4.

Are you a person with Medicare living with diabetes or know someone who is? Take control of your health through Quality Insight’s free and interactive six-week workshop series.

Meet others going through similar experiences and learn about diabetes and its risks, preventing complications, healthy eating, exercise, medication management, dealing with stress and depression and much more. Graduates from this program have lost weight, improved eating habits, started walking and reduced blood sugar levels.

The free series will be offered at the Moorestown Library. Workshops are on Thursdays, April 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2 and 9 all from 10 a.m. to noon.

Complimentary literature and giveaways will be provided. All attendees must register by the second session.

To register, call the Moorestown Library’s reference desk at (856)234–0333.

Quality Insights offers free diabetes self-management education as part of the national Everyone with Diabetes Counts (EDC) program. To learn more, visit http://qualityinsights-qin.org.
