Rabbi Dr. Sharon Shalom, the first Ethiopian rabbi in Israel, will be visiting Temple Har Zion in Mt. Holly on Friday, March 29.
The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is co-sponsoring a Lunch ’n’ Learn event at Mt. Holly’s Temple Har Zion on Friday, March 29.
Rabbi Dr. Sharon Shalom, the first Ethiopian rabbi in Israel, will be the guest speaker at the event. Shalom will speak about his personal journey to Israel and his experiences living there.
South Jersey, along with New Orleans and Charleston, is part of a pilot program with the Ministry of Diaspora and Ohr Torah Stone in Israel, bringing speakers from Israel to the U.S. to share the Israel experience with Americans. This event is apolitical and non-religious.
