Grant will help meet multiple security needs at Palmyra High School
The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders awarded Palmyra School District a security grant of $707,000 on Jan. 23. This grant will help meet multiple security needs at Palmyra High School, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. In addition, the grant will allow the Palmyra Board of Education to redirect future resources to meet security needs for other district facilities.
On Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1:45 p.m. in the Clarence B. Jones Library at Palmyra High School, the Palmyra Board of Education has invited the Burlington County Freeholders and the public to a special presentation during the BOE Retreat. Burlington County Freeholder Director Tom Pullion and Deputy Director Balvir Singh will be in attendance as Palmyra School District recognizes and values the Burlington County Freeholder’s commitment to safety in our schools through their investment in upgrading high school security throughout Burlington County.
Mark Russell, Palmyra BOE President notes, “I express my heartfelt gratitude and recognition of the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders’ $707K investment in Palmyra High School, ensuring an enhanced safe and secure environment for our students and staff.”
Palmyra School District Superintendent Brian J. McBride states, “My sincerest appreciation to the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders for awarding the Palmyra School District with $707k to be used for safety improvements at Palmyra High School.”
