Mobile App helps owners find their pets

Make sure to sign up for this free app this winter in the event that you or a loved ones’ pet goes missing

In October 2016, Police Chief Michael Miller and Berlin Borough Council announced their backing of a then-new mobile app aimed to help report and recover lost pets, called FurAlert.

Unfortunately, many residents that will lose their pets this year will not be aware of this app and resort to hanging posters. Berlin Borough Council would like to remind residents that this app is an emergency response system that notifies nearby people with your pets photo and information.

This Amber-Alert for pets will notify other pet owners within a one to five mile radius in a matter of seconds. This free mobile app increases the chances of finding owners pets.

Download the free app today and learn more at www.furalert.us.
