The fundraising event will kick off at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s 39th annual Super Sunday Phone-A-Thon is all set for tomorrow. The event will include two shifts: 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:45 to 8 p.m. with volunteers reach out to donors in Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties to raise funds for the Jewish Federation’s JFund campaign. Last year, more than 300 volunteers raised more than $1 million in just one week.
“The dollars raised during Super Sunday/Week make a real impact on our South Jersey community, and in Jewish communities all around the world. Ninety cents on every dollar donated to JFund goes directly to programs and services, ensuring a Jewish future and caring for all those in need,” said Jennifer Dubrow Weiss, CEO of Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.
In addition to the more than 300 volunteers who come out for Super Sunday, local dignitaries also show their support with their attendance. The federation needs volunteers on Super Sunday to make calls and assist with clerical work. Walk-in volunteers are also welcome.
Training is provided on-site. On-site parking is available. Those unable to volunteer are asked to donate when called. For more information, visit jewishsouthjersey.org/supersunday, email [email protected] or call (856) 751–9500 ext. 1117.
