After a male exposed himself to a woman on Jan. 3, Gloucester Township Police were assisted by the public through social media to locate the alleged man
The following is a release from the Gloucester Township Police Department:
On Jan. 3, at approximately 11:05 a.m., the Gloucester Township Police responded to the area of Morris Avenue and Railroad Avenue for a suspicious vehicle. It was reported that the driver of a truck rolled down the passenger side window to speak with an elderly female who was walking, and asked her for directions. The female approached the vehicle and saw that the male had his genitals exposed. The female then walked away as the vehicle left the area.
The following day, with the assistance of the public through social media, a suspect was identified. The Gloucester Township Police Investigations Bureau completed the investigation and charged Douglass Zirbser, 45, with lewdness, a disorderly persons offense. Zirbser was released on a criminal summons to appear in Municipal Court.
