Lourdes Health System will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, Jan. 25, at LourdesCare at Cherry Hill from 2 to 7 p.m. The drive will take place in LourdesCare’s large conference room.
Although 60 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood, only
5 percent does so, according to the American Red Cross. That five percent must meet 100 percent of the need for blood in our country. During the winter months, fewer donors tend to give, so donations are especially needed.
Presenting donors at all Lourdes locations will receive a voucher for a free medium Dunkin’ hot coffee and a donut and a Lourdes trunk organizer.
