Hattie Nehlig was surprised by her close friends on Dec. 12 as they celebrated her 100th birthday in Mantua. Mayor Pete Scirrotto and Deputy Mayor Bob Zimmerman also presented her with a proclamation noting the events she’s lived through and how much youth she still has (Krystal Nurse/The Sun).
