Temple Beth Sholom Hazak and Sisterhood welcome Matt Screnci for a special event on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. at Temple Beth Sholom, 1901 Kresson Road in Cherry Hill.
Screnci will present the contributions of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein are synonymous with Broadway. In the 1940’s and 1950’s, they revolutionized musical theatre and gave the world some of the most beloved shows of all time. This program will look at their contributions to the theatre and will highlight their best known shows such as Oklahoma, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music.
Matt Screnci is a longtime lover of Broadway musicals and has been teaching courses on musicals and theatre at Camden County College.
