Brandywine Living to host outdoor fundraising event on Nov. 17
An estimated 5.7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease in America. In support of a cure, Brandywine Living at Haddonfield will be hosting Haddonfield’s first ever Alzheimer’s Fundraiser Walk on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11:00 a.m.
“Many Brandywine Living residents are not able to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association in Philadelphia this month, but want to show their support. Organizing this walk enables our residents and families to actively raise awareness and funds alongside the Haddonfield community,” said Kim Fasolo, director of Community Relations at Brandywine Living at Haddonfield.
Walkers will gather outside of Brandywine Living at Haddonfield’s Historic Haddon House and begin walking down Warwick Road promptly at 11. At the end of the walk, attendees are invited to enjoy a celebration with light refreshments and music.
To participate in the walk, RSVP to the Brandywine Living at Haddonfield concierge at (856) 429–5500 or register online at www.eventbrite.com/e/haddonfield-alzheimers-walk-tickets-51724885525.
The walk is free but attendees are encouraged to make a donation of their choice via cash or check to the Alzheimer’s Association during the event. Those who wish to donate but cannot attend the walk, may drop off their donations during the community’s normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., or online on the community’s team page here: http://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2018/PA-DelawareValley?px=11921181&pg=personal&fr_id=11688
