Williamstown High School drama club kicks off their 2018–2019 mainstage season with the fall drama “Almost, Maine” written by John Cariani.
On one cold night in the fictional town of Almost, Maine, the citizens of Almost experience the life-changing powers of love. Led by the northern lights, Almost, Maine follows the stories of 19 different people on one night. Relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Each story is different and all are connected. Come along to follow to the journey of the citizens of Almost, Maine as they discover themselves and love.
Directing the play is Andrea Krapevka, Williamstown acting teacher & drama club advisor, along with colleague Melissa Wegmann and four incredible student directors. The cast of 19 represents students from 9th to 12th grade.
All performances will take place in the Williamstown High School auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 1, Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3. All shows start at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m.. Pre-sale tickets will be sold on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the WHS Theatre lobby. Student and Senior (65+) tickets are $7 at the pre-sale and $10 at the door. Adult tickets are $10 at the pre-sale and $12 at the door.
