Action Karate presents “Done with Bullying”

Free seminar is designed to teach practical strategies for dealing with bullying

Action Karate will present “Done with Bullying,” a free anti-bullying seminar for children and adults ages five and up at 1703 Highland Avenue on Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. A few weeks into the school year, many students are already experiencing the stress and shame of being bullied or seeing others get bullied.

Action Karate instructors will demonstrate real-life scenarios with clarity,
compassion and interactive teaching to school-age children. The free program is designed to teach practical strategies for identifying and dealing with bullying behavior and how to teach young people to stand up for themselves and others.

These skills not only help children grow up with more confidence and stability, but also adults find these drills helpful to mitigate tense workplace situations, “Bullying is still a huge problem, and we believe that no other industry is better equipped to end bullying than martial arts,” says Robert McQuade, head instructor of Action Karate.

To sign up for the program, call (856) 733–0593 or e-mail them at

Parents are encouraged to watch. This program is great for educators as well.
