Historical Society of Haddonfield announces new display for First Sunday

Eighteenth-century life the focus of the new pop-up at Greenfield Hall on Oct. 7.

The Historical Society will create another new pop-up display for our next “First Sunday” open hours. The latest display, called “Life in the Eighteenth Century,” will be on view on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the first floor of Greenfield Hall, 343 Kings Highway East. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

As with our previous pop-up displays, we’ll be pulling out a selection of items from our archival and museum collections that help illustrate the theme. We also offer tours of Greenfield Hall on First Sundays, and the Archives Center will be open for researchers next door in the Mickle House.

The pop-up display will continue through most of October and be available for viewing during Greenfield Hall’s public hours (Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) or by special appointment at another time.
