Ernesto Custom Clothiers hosting Dress to Impress Suit Drive

The Cherry Hill business will be collecting gently used men’s suits and jackets for veterans and young adults going into the workforce.

On Sept. 1, Ernesto Custom Clothiers of Cherry Hill will kick off its first Ernesto Custom Clothier’s Dress to Impress Suit Drive, a six-week long initiative that collects gently used men’s suits and jackets for veterans and young adults in the community transitioning into the workforce. All donations collected will benefit three programs; Volunteers of America — Home For The Brave, Volunteers of America — Services at the Lofts at 2601, and Urban Promise. Collection dates will begin Sept. 1 and end on Oct. 15

“Volunteers of America Delaware Valley gives hope to the veterans we serve by providing valuable services and assistance to them and their families” said Daniel Lombardo, president and CEO of Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. “We are grateful to companies like Ernesto Custom Clothiers who partner with us on this mission.”

“Every day we work to raise up the next generation of leaders,” said Toni Farmer, director of development and marketing for Urban Promise. “Your donation of a gently used suit can help launch a young person to their first job interview and beyond. These young men will be the grateful recipients of Ernesto Custom Clothier’s Suit Drive.”

“I have always wanted to host a suit drive to benefit the local community where I grew up,” said Ed DeSumma, owner of Ernesto Custom Clothiers. “Giving back to the community is part of our company DNA.”
