Featured presentations include “Osteoporosis and the Role of Physical Therapy” and “Sport Injury Prevention and Tips.”
Trinity Rehab, a physical therapy and rehabilitation center providing treatment will host a complementary open house and wellness event as part of National Safety Month on Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at its facility in The Atriums at Greentree, Building 751, Suite 2, 701–751, Route 73 in Marlton.
The free event is open to the public and will feature two presentations with “Osteoporosis and the Role of Physical Therapy” at 10 a.m. and “Sport Injury Prevention and Tips” at noon.
Each program is meant to create an awareness of risks and the importance of proper diagnosis. The programs will provide prevention tips and rehabilitation treatment options followed by a question and answer session.
Attendees of the open house will have an opportunity to tour the facility, meet the center staff, test the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill and schedule a complementary one-on-one wellness consultation.
Seating for the programs is limited and RSVPs are requested. Light refreshments will also be served.
“Osteoporosis and the Role of Physical Therapy” will provide a broad overview of the disease itself and the avoidable vs. non-avoidable risk factors for developing the condition.
The second wellness presentation, “Sport Injury Prevention and Tips,” will highlight key facts and figures for both school-age athletes and the weekend warriors. Answers to the question “Why am I getting injuries when working out?” will be covered along with a detailed look into three of the most common injuries — rotator cuff impairment/tear, lower back strain and ACL injuries.
