Timber Creek conducts a shelter-in-place this morning

The enforcement is part of a random search to deter drug activity.

The following report is from the Gloucester Township Police Department:

Timber Creek High School was just recently placed in a shelter-in-place. With the support of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District and the Camden County Prosecutors Office, a K-9 search was conducted for illegal contraband. This is a random search to deter drug activity and a precautionary measure to keep schools safe.

Timber Creek High School is a drug free school zone and drugs will not be tolerated on school grounds. This is another example of community partnership and the Gloucester Township Police 3rd Gear policing initiative that focuses on prevention, suppression and intervention.
