Military veterans invited to walk in 4th of July Parade

The Parade Committee wishes to invite the military veterans of Moorestown and neighboring towns to participate.

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Step-off time is noon. The Parade Committee wishes to invite the military veterans of Moorestown and neighboring towns to participate in this celebration of our freedom.

If you did time in a combat zone or didn’t, war time or peace time, makes no difference to the committee. Please accept our invitation since it was you who raised your hand to serve this nation. The committee feels that the American people want to say, “Thanks for your Service” and will respond wonderfully to seeing a float carrying our veterans.

Assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester Avenues (GPS: 334 Chester Ave.). Please arrive by 11:30 hours, so the committee can show you your place in the line-up. Please park as far from that intersection as possible to give the committee room to organize the parade. Also, please wear something that marks your veteran status (military ball cap, etc.).
