Funds raised will benefit families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
Local organization, the Rolling Badges Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, along with the 4Heroes Charity Inc., holds the Annual Rambo’s Blessing of the Bikes. This year, the fifth annual event will be held on April 21, with a rain date of April 22.
All net proceeds will go to the two chapters of C.O.P.S. of New Jersey this year. Funds raised will benefit the families who lost a loved one in the line of duty. The groups are also taking a tax-deductible donation from business or individuals who wish to donate.
The event will leave Barb’s Harley Davidson, 926 Black horse Pike, Mt. Ephraim, at 11:30 a.m. under full police escort, and will arrive at the Gibbstown VFW Post 5579, 743 W. Broad St., Gibbstown, around 1 p.m.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. at Barb’s HD, and you can pre-register at www.rollingbadges.com. There will be a live band, vendors, 50/50, silent auctions, food from Mission BBQ and alcohol can be purchased from the VFW at your own expense.
You don’t need to own a motorcycle — anyone can participate and enjoy the day as a walk up. Just register ahead of time. Riders are $25, passengers $15 and walk ups (barbecue only) are $15.
