The meeting is part of council’s initiative to hold meetings at different locations in town to draw in more residents to share thoughts.
Mt. Laurel Township Council is taking tonight’s council meeting “on the road” for the first time in 2018 by holding the meeting at Countryside Elementary School.
Although council normally meets in the courtroom of the Mt. Laurel Municipal Building, tonights’ Feb. 26 meeting at Countryside is part of an initiative council began to encourage more residents to attend council meetings to share their thoughts and concerns about Mt. Laurel Township.
Council hopes that by having some council meetings throughout the year in different locations, residents who live in different parts of town might have an easier time attending a meeting.

The meeting starts at the normal start time of 7 p.m. at Countryside Elementary School, 115 Schoolhouse Lane.
