A suspect brandishes a knife and stole cash and cigarettes from the Citgo gas station on Route 38 last Saturday.
Cherry Hill Police request the public’s assistance in identifying a subject who committed an armed robbery of the Citgo Gas Station on Route 38 in Cherry Hill on Saturday Feb. 17 at approximately 7:04 p.m.
The suspect approached the attendant on foot after exiting the passenger side door of what is believed to be a Lexus RX330 sport utility vehicle that had parked on Harvard Avenue to the rear of the gas station. The actor brandished a knife and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. The actor fled on foot on Harvard Avenue and the vehicle drove off in the direction the actor was last seen running.
The actor is described as a heavyset male in his 30’s with dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a white scarf over his face. Photos of the actor and the vehicle are attached. There is no description of the driver of the vehicle available at this time.
