Spectators are welcome to watch the boys race for the title of “pack champion.” The derby racing, a tradition for over 60 years, is a way to instill strong values and teach the Cub Scouts good sportsmanship. The boys get an opportunity to design their cars, work with their parents to build it, and see how it performs in the Pinewood Derby. For any questions or interests in joining the Pack, contact Zaka McCoy at [email protected]. Additional information regarding the event can be found at www.facebook.com/cubscoutpack47.
